Mermaids & Mayhem

Donating art, for me, begins in the heart. In 2024 I offered a custom portrait for the Sirens annual Mermaids & Mayhem fundraiser—proceeds that year supported women navigating breast cancer. I wasn’t sure if anyone would bid, or whether the winner would love my style. The auction reached its $250 cap and closed in the first hour. The joy wasn’t in the number; it was in the feeling that art can carry help where it’s needed.

Why I Give

I donated for the cause and discovered a fuller truth: generosity is its own kind of medicine. I’ll join Mermaids & Mayhem again in October 2025, celebrating and supporting children with autism.
